I Don't See How She's Able to Push on With the £20 a Week Cut

There's so much focus on the cost of living now that it's incredibly difficult politically for her to go down this route where she wouldn't operate benefits. Opposition to this is also right across the party, including some in her own cabinet. I think there's just a lot of concern that that would be the direction where she would take it. And actually, I remember speaking to Damien Green last September about that £20 a week cut. He told me MPs had run out of road in terms of trying to oppose it. Now, he's on Radio 4 saying that it's very unlikely that Liz Trust will get it through. So it seems to me that even if she wanted to go ahead
