Is This a Long Term Concern?
With sas cavy too, we've seen the mutations as more and more people are infected by it. Is this a long term concern in the way that monkey pocks may behave in the future? One of those diseases on the wac definitely. The moldeke priority now is to understand the epidemiology - where exactly did people get these varises? What are the connections between the different individuals that got them? That's that' key. And also understanding the make up of the vires, and is there anything there thate that is cause for concern?
