We Cannot Afford Not to Leave Tools on the Table
Republicans have a 67 to 32 majority in the House of Representatives, but they're not allowed to use leverage that doesn't risk Democrats being empowered. This is what I mean when I say sometimes to elect rhinos is worse because even in a super majority, they'll empower the Democrats. So ultimately it pushes that kind of cathartic brinkmanship that I think we need and without it, we won't go anywhere. Ironically, very uniquely with an extremely weakened McCarthy with us having a rope around as you know what in perpetuity, then it would be with a fresh conservative face,.
