What Are Some Obstacles to Higher Education?

In Washington DC, you're somewhat in a maybe a different spot. You're highly educated. The Charles Murray and others have talked about this kind of the high-end income in these specific zip codes. But what about, say, an average American, or even somebody from a poor family under class who's struggling? What are some of the obstacles that they're facing, especially with education? And what about, I mean, the fact that we do need, but they want a home.
