You Know I'm a Fundamentalist and I've Come Out of Fundamentalism and I Feel a Lot of Sympathy and Understanding for People Who Have Come Out of Cults and Whose Only Experience of Community Has Been Control and Power of Domination
I feel a lot of yeah like sympathy and understanding for people especially people who were raised in a fundamentalist religion or whose only experience of community has been control and power over. It's hard because most of the time those communities it's not just that right there's like plenty of good things that are happening. I work with a lot of people who have come out of religious fundamentalism or out of cults you know but I hear what you're saying in part is defining your own your own values and living according to your own values rather than whatever the external values have been established for you whether that's your mom or your religion.
