Hillary Clinton's Leverage on Identity Stuff. And Nobody's Talking About the Economy.
I love this point. I'm always reminding people that the number one way to make something not a part of a conversation in a campaign is to have both candidates have the same position on that thing. There's no leveraging that. And so we have these two cycles where we're not talking about this, but then Trump comes along, comes down the escalator. He knows pretty much he's gonna be running against Hillary Clinton. And so he sees the leverage. The more I talk about race explicitly, the more I am going to throw gas on that fight.
