The Different Drug Classes That Lower APOB Levels

The APOB that's in circulation is primarily a product of cholesterol absorption in the intestine and then cholesterol synthesis in the liver. If you have elevated triglycerides, it's going to significantly prolong the plasma residence time of APOB particles. The drugs that don't work on LDL receptors to lower APOB have not worked. Fibreates, niacin are the two best examples there.
