Jason Bourne is often called a sort of successor also to Bond. I wonder if any of you have thought on these either even of your own experiences of reading these authors, seeing films, feeling ambitions to be James Bond or George LeCare. It's hard to think of a successor for LeCare because he's writing falls into two departments from little I know about it. But if you put aside the whole spy espionage thing, he's so interested in the human condition and the lifelong struggle to understand yourself that you could see him having lots of successes.
