The Magic of the Spectacle
In societies where modern conditions of production prevail all of life presents itself as an immense accumulation of spectacles everything that was once directly lived has moved away into a representation. The spectacle is not a collection of images but a social a social relation among people mediated by images so i guess the question is like is this how we you know are we all addicted to the spectacle? We consume politics the way we consume pro wrestling it's good guys and bad guys and there's a lot of kayfabe involved yeah.
