I am quite keen to be a better parent than my parents were to me. And i sort of think like that that's a likely outcome, to be honest. But also, i maybe quibble with the idea that it was ever possible to prepare your children for the future. You know, i grew up in a late soviet union as a kid and then i saw that world collapse.
