The Bellbrook Rural Fire Brigade Fire Truck
Bellbrook Rural Fire Brigade was the first all-indigenous rural fire brigade in New South Wales. About 50 years ago, their fire truck was used by a crew at the Thungutty Aboriginal community. The firefighters held a fundraiser to buy back the old truck from the collector who owned it. Now they plan to rebuild it so they can take it to schools and teach people about the history of rural firefighting.
