Gaddafi's attempt to be some sort of alternative world leader and his own, you know, he built a tent and he was going to invade everybody into it. He had this air of, oh, I'm just a humble better wind blah blah blah. It's like, bro, you sit on top of a country of a, like, of five million people and you have billions and dollars in oil wealth. You're not like a belt. You'renot like a better one herdsman. And that's what the through line of U.S. foreign policy is manufacturing regime change and then having a revolutionary facade on top of it. This is classic American geopolitical strategy."
