How to Use Parallel Compression on Masters

Using a compressor with a fast release time and high threshold created gating effect on a track creating a chopped or staccato sound. Using an 1176 plug-in when you have a super fast attack and a fastRelease time with a lot of compression, it starts to distort. And then if you have that attack knob and slow down the attack and it turns into like a blend knob for the distortion, so you can do less distortion by slowing down the attack. It's really cool. Don't use the CLA stuff that has the worst distortion.
