Automated Airplanes

Autonomous planes could exist to morrow, if we really wanted them to exist. Can you imagine someone hand piloting a falcon nine to the ground? It's just never going to happen. Spacex and many other operators with augment tin of g p s have perfected centimeter level navigation which is required to land on that drone ship. I don't think they're using vision. If they put cameras on it, i don't think it's part of this navigation system,. The model to think about is gain going to rocketry.
