Sally Kohn: We're already seeing some really nightmarish things happening from these generative AI systems in large part because they are being rolled out without any accountability and with very little concern for their effects. She says the gig economy was of capital trying to draw money out of public services, sovereignty over public spaces as well as labor market. Kohn: Generative AI is trying to do that in a kind of cognitive capitalism way; let's use AI to replace people and create intellectual property which can then be licensed, monetized.
