Bureaucratic politics is having a renaissance moment in political science, says Andrew Keen. It goes back to the late 1960s and early 1970s when authors began thinking about the state as something other than a unitary actor. The scholars that are looking at this today are much more interested in information rather than organizational preference or organizational culture.
