"I was hoping that I'd be in a relationship monogamous with one guy," he says. "And then if I could be monogamous and quit fooling around on my boyfriend, that God would convert my boyfriend ... That was my intent." He walked away from Christianity after 20 years of trying to not be gay. But his addiction opened up the doorway to more intimacy with Jesus Christ, he says.
