Yellen Backs Off a Little Bit
Yellen has led a G7 push to implement a price cap on Russian oil, which is supposed to take effect in December. Russia has vowed to retaliate and said that it would not sell oil to any countries trying to impose price caps. But Yellen does seem like she backed off a little bit and has recognized some of the issues with this plan.
