The Design Process

There's a few different models that are gaining popularity if you look at discussion threads on LinkedIn, influencers and blogs. Human-centered design has its origins in the 1950s - it came from a guy called John Arnold who suggested that engineering design should be human-centered. Bizarrely, we can sometimes forget when we're designing learning that it's about humans. All too often you can see where a program has been designed for the process and not for the human using process.
