And i invite people, i would say, to draw their own conclusions about how they regard that reality in their own lives. The second proposition is that the suffering is often made worse by malevolence. That can be while the sort of impersonal malevolence of nature or the more personalmalevolence of society or the individual. So it seems reasonable to me to suggest to young people that they do have a destiny that gives their life significant individual import and that is to take arms up against the iniquities of existence at whatever levels
