The Engagement Phase in Jujitsu
We want to think about these different phases of our guard so that we can specifically break down those phases. So it's, it's a rule that applies not just to jujitsu when we're speaking of guard, but also take down striking, any combat situation. The engagement phase is criminally overlooked in most training that people talk about. This happens both from standing and a lot of the time from guard.
