De Growth - A New Concept, a New Idea

Francois Schneider took a year long walk in tow on a donkey to disseminate the growth throughout France. Eventually Schneider founded an academic collective known as Research and De Growth, along with Dennis Bion and Fabrice Filippo. They eventually began international conferences, one in Paris in 2008 and second in Barcelona in 2010. The English term De Growth was officially used for the first time at the Paris conference which remarked the birth of the international research community around De Growth.
