The Importance of Productivity Growth in the Economy
Economists have long said that when you have inflation, you're also learning something about the economy. It is sending a signal about where resources should be sent to alleviate the higher inflation. And so i'm not dismissing the costs of inflation on a lot of people. I'm just saying it has this virtue that, again, to my mind, has gone somewhat under explored.
