The Importance of Being a Dharmic Parent
The ego is an exquisite instrument, it's the central computer for living on this plane. It's a terrible master and a wonderful servant. A given relationship are your parents and your children. You can't trade them in. I think that when you look at a child for that child to survive on Earth, they have to take seriously that they're somebody. Nobody doesn't make it on Earth. Somebody makes it on earth. And slowly we are going to emerge into two very deep friends and be available for that role as early as possible.
