Tyranisaur Biting Marks - What's the Connection?
These are scars that were caused by some animal that was able to actually dent the bone of the tyrannisor such that it survived fossilization and all that. As they looked closer and started measuring up the size of these scars, they real ized they were being delivered by other tyranisaurs. And their theory behind this is that this is happening when tyran saurs are about to mate with one another. We do see it in other animals like crocodiles.
