The Fed was aggressively raising rates, right? Like 1999, into the highs of 2000 in the stock market. And to your point, we got above 6% Fed funds. The S&P got cut in half over a two-year period. We went from 1%, right? In the mid 2000s up to just over 5% into 07. And you got more than cut in half again.
