I often see disagreements between people who think that the other person doesn't understand themselves because they're coming from the opposite dichotomy. And I've seen that also happen in the opposite case where someone is like, well, no, you're really confused. You think you want all these things in the world, but what you really want is the feeling you'll get when you have those. That's what really matters is this sense of oneness and unity with everything. So if we want to get along, we should recognize that.
