Is There a Difference Between Mechanical Time and Body Time?
You can't really measure the time a task, any particular task takes because different bodies will perform that task in different periods of time. I think it's difficult for people who have differing abilities to be measured against a standard that feels very objective. And so there must be doing it wrong if they move more slowly or take more time to do something. We don't value people who take time in the world who move through the world more slowly. It just depends on our bodies.
