Industrialization Strategy at Low Levels of Income
A lot of shins in has, you know, development has also been due to the national industrial policy that was rolled out at the end of the 2000s and especially in the 2010s. The most successful places were like Guangzhou, Tianjin, which became these manufacturing hubs by basically luring a bunch of foreign investment. As long as you're at low levels of income, it's not clear yet what like how far that plan can take you.
