The Importance of Religion in Cooperatives

I'd like to hear from you how you think religion and faith has been significant in your work. To me it really just comes down to a sense of faith in human dignity. I mentioned Alphonse Desjardins the founder of the North American credit union system earlier. Every time he banged his head against a wall he would run into some bishop or someone or get invited to speak to a congregation. You know somehow these traditions have had tremendous historical impact.
