What's the Political System in a Car?

If you and four friends get together to have a meal, what's going to happen is everyone proposes what they want. The process for making that decision will fall somewhere on the spectrum between full democracy and full autocracy. Democracy means that anyone who's affected by a decision gets to have a say in that decision  in proportion to how much they are affected by the decision. Autocracy just means dictatorship. It means one person gets to decide no matter what everyone else's needs and wants are consent.
