Parrot Fever
Parrot fever started in the 19 twenties, when international flight became more of a thing. Parrots would have like, low lying underand they'd be carrying a virus that wasn't symptomatic. Their bird feces would dry, it would get into humans, and people would get parrot fever. The early origins of some of the early biohazard suits and stuff came from it.
