The BBC's Speed in the Face of Crises

It's very, very hard to just fire somebody or put them on the suspension. What is strange is that they didn't instantly suspend them and it took several days. I do think it's another classic example of the BBC. Can it react quickly enough? And in each of the crises that the BBC faces, almost every time there's a kind of sense of, did you move fast enough?
