Play is fundamental on a society, an individual level. The dominant work ethic of the last few centuries isn't equipped to deal with our modern world without it. As products of an attention economy, i think we've forgotten how to be bored. And in anything, play and the misuse of play has encouraged us to fill every sing waking moment with something that has become gamefied or play fulle ye, and misappropriateit. So for me, there's a massive danger in play, whilst understanding what a huge lever it is in human engage.
