The Musical of Sally Bowles
This is a unique musical because it's not slavish to the material. Every song that you hear, every performance that you hear takes place on the stage. This might be the movie musical for people who hate movie musicals. It did feel like it came in and it was like the 70s version of a musical. The characters don't burst into singing when they're with each other. There's a lot to discuss.
