The Pros and Cons of Multiple Imputation
Multiple imputation has the flexibility to use any estimation procedure you want. What I don't like about multiple imputation is when data model fit assessment, which we talked about in a recent episode, the black pearl. It's not entirely clear to me how fit and multiple imputation talk to each other. MI is really powerful. There's situations where this should be used in practice but in the spirit of dirty hairy they are somewhat model dependent.
