Is There a Legal Limit on Human Embryos?

Researchers coax normal cells to become exosperm and then develop into an embryo. In the UK this is regulated by the human fertilization and embryology authority. The main rule there is that as we've said you can't go past the 14-day period to work on human embryos. But one group told me they actually have created a synthetic human and embryo model using human stem cells. That research should hopefully be published later this year. Another group has also created artificial placenta-like cells belonging to mama sets again that research should be published this year. All this research will change our understanding of pregnancy and the earlier stages of all our lives.
