The Importance of Community Health Workers in the NHS

The life expectancy gap between men in Churchill Gardens and men up the road, 15 minutes up the road in Belgravia is about 18 years. So nothing we've done so far has really made a difference to that. I was really impressed by the breastfeeding rates, how they were very similar in Brazil to how they are now here in the UK. They've gone stellar with the community health workers. It's taken a long time to integrate them properly and they're not even there yet.
