James white: The motivations of all those people are decreed by god. And just remember that the motives themselves are in accordance with god's divine decree. Not that he knew that they would happen and permitted them, but he sovereignly and unchangeably, decreed that those motivations would come about. I mean, under under divine sovereignty, everything that's natural is in accordance with what god has decreed for it to be. So how in the world do you say personis culpable and that god did not ultimately author their evil?
