I've Got a Zediface Mirror, and I'm Not Hurting for Space.
This year i was able to pick up a couple of 14 terrabi easy stores from bess by for 200 dollars a pop. In my experience, hard drives last for about five years. Why don't i just buy two drives every year? And in that way, when i outgrade the parity drive, i actually also get a nice bump on my date disks as well. I've got a mixture now of ten terabites and 12 terrabites in there. So it's somewhere in the region of 70 to 80 terabites of raw, actual usable storage. That's what i'll buy this year.
