The Impossibility of Teaching American History Standards
Teachers are put into this impossible position. The government is telling them one thing, and then on the other hand, teachers are being told they could potentially get in trouble for that because it might touch on systemic racism. I want teachers to be able to at least have notice and do process as to what is allowed and what is not allowed. Because otherwise you'll hear the stories that I keep hearing, which is like this was right before Black History Month.
