Mimonides, when he took up arabic philosophy, wasn't thinking of how can this make my life better? How can i express my truth? He was in pursuit of the truth. And any kind of najure critique of liberalism that overlooks that is being slightly reactionary for the sake of being reactionary, i would say. The question then show do we robustly affirm truth and say at without turning it into a mechanism of destruction?
