Hezekiah is offering a similar prayer, but notice the focus throughout. It's on thee thou art the god. Thou alone. You're the only one. You created heaven and earth. And so that puts into perspective the tantine of rabshaka about these this tally of of defeated deities. They're not gods at alls. This is pure monotheism surrounded by polytheism on every side. There's only one god, and he hasn't defeated him yet. We're ready for assyria, because god is ready for him.
