#36 - [The Chapman Series, Pt. 1] Cognitivism, Representationalism, and Rationalism

Do Explain with Christofer Lövgren

CHAPTER

The Problem Situation From a Parparian Landsoer Perspective

In an effort to salvage rationalism and representationalism, the definition of a problem situation that gets given inrationalism itis just the propositional ideas that you have that are in conflict with each other. This idea that it's just a conflict between representational ideas doesn't hold water em soli like they may be successfully coping with a problem situation as they understand this. So we move from reasonableness to rationality, moving in that direction of generality and universality. And if this derails the point about general cognition, feel free to ignore it. It's clear how what i was just calling reasonableness in chapman's division is is not fully, fully general.
