I think there is a tendency to want to believe that it is dickish to talk about this kind of stuff. It's very emblematic of the time that we're in, where it's all about loving yourself and body positivity. And when someone my size or shape or someone who looks like me says these same things,. what we are met with is like threats and harassment and like wild, intense, awful reactions.
