Managing the Psychology of Clients When It Comes to Investing

I think that what is really important with working with clients for me is their ability to understand strategy. I have over the years run into people who feel that investing is gambling and it isn't. What I want to make sure is that they have a core portfolio that is focused on achieving goals. And if they want to do something like trading, oftentimes I'll say have a little side car account that you have fun in. Go do that. But the core investing, it's going to be boring, it’s going to be slow, and it will be very targeted at achieving a return.
