Cedar of Lebanon Gift From the Country of Lebanon to Lebanon, South Dakota

CNN's Fadi Ghitis was in Lebanon, South Dakota when he made an amazing discovery. He found a juniper tree posing as a cedar that said 'Lebanese Cedar' Cedars are the symbol of Lebanon and have been used by many empires for thousands of years. The Romans used them to build their walls; Egyptians would make coffins out of cedar trees because they felt wood would take them into the afterlife.
