The Future of Democracy

Marty: The interesting thing about this summit process is that they've defined the issues around democracy fairly broadly. There are some traditional kind of core issues like free and fair elections and media freedom independent journalism, but there's also a theme around including youth in democratic processes. And then there's a big, big focus, which I think is right and appropriateAround the challenges of technology in democracy. But also the obviously very real threats that technology has posed to democracy.
