How to Deal With Distress Without Running Away
I have a very strong impulse to distract myself. So like, maybe I press enter on the send button or whatever. But I might then not be able to do work for a bit because I'm so distressed about it. How do you get better at tolerating the distress of it without running away? It really is a lot of practice with this experiential acceptance attitude.
