What's the Meaning of Sacrifice in the New Testament?

The term sacrifice is applied to jesus andn pretty much the resitis. There's not a direct connection, at least in anykind of tangent. But what doesss there will be the term e hime of witime, which is blood. And i think that comes in precisely because of the last supper,. or lord's supper, or eucharist o ther different terms about this.
